Eoin Cully, James Harris and Aaron Browne were all in fine form as Kildare players contributed 2-9 of Maynooth's 2-14 total in their defeat to UCD on Tuesday.
The Dublin school put up 3-16 with two Lilies of their own in the starting lineup as Athy's Michael Spillane and Sarsfields' Callum Bolton, who grabbed two points, got the nod.
Carbury corner-forward Eoin Cully had 1-3 to his name come full-time in this clash with Castlemitchell's James Harris raising Maynooth's other green flag. Celbridge forward Aaron Browne put 0-5 on the board with Luke Killian adding one of his own.
Cian Burke between the posts was the fifth Kildare man in the starting XV in a disappointing result for the University but a mightily impressive showing from what could be some of Brian Flanagan's key men in 2026.
