Three tourist accommodations and two glamping pods have been planned for Kill, Co Kildare

€1.4m tourist accommodation/glamping pods planned for this Kildare village

A planning application has been lodged with Kildare County Council for the construction of tourist accommodation/glamping pods in Kill, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), planning application 2550176 was submitted by Green Haven Limited with respect to three tourist accommodations and two glamping pods at Bishopscourt House, Kill, Co Kildare.

The proposed scheme comprises the following:

  • The construction of three single storey, detached tourist accommodation lodges each with two additional single storey, detached glamping pods along with a single storey, detached retreat building.

  • Ancillary development consisting of replacement vehicular entrance, landscaping, boundary treatment, bike storage, car parking, EV charging facilities, disabled car parking, outdoor sauna and plunge pool low level lighting

  • Bin storage area, new internal access roads and on-site waste water treatment facilities for all units

  • All associated site works
