'Kildare estate agents must take down advertising signs faster'

A call has been made for estate agents to more speedily remove advertising signs from outside properties that have gone for sale.

Cllr Anne Breen has asked Kildare County Council to remind estate agents operating in Naas "of their obligations to remove advertising boards in a timely fashion."

Cllr Breen said is should happen "within the time regulations once a transaction is concluded."

She said this is "often not the case", notably "with regard to apartment block complexes."
