The general public in County Kildare has been advised that a defibrillator is currently out of service at a rural pub.
Taking to social media, the Rural Kildare Community First Responders group explained: "[We are] sorry to report that the Defib / AED [Automated External Defibrillator] unit at Mel's Pub Narraghmore is out of order for a few days.
"Alternative units are nearby at St Laurence's GAA, Kilmeade and Crookstown Churches and the petrol filling station, also at Crookstown," the group added.
It should be noted that in the event of an emergency, nearby active defibrillator units can easily be found by searching 'AED near me' on Google Maps.
