Adrian and Lorcan's "bright" and "tranquil" home has been selected as the first to make it to the Home of the Year final.
Based in Kildare, the couple built their home 20 years ago, with the garden being the main spectacle.

The couple shared how they built the house with the garden in mind, and planted a weeping willow outside after one of their fathers passed away.
Inside, a number of different architectural styles, colours, and features can be seen.
"We wanted a home that was bright and light and full of character," they said on the first episode of this year's new season.

There are multiple gallery walls throughout the house, as well as a couch and seating area in the main bedroom.
The judges described the home as an "incredible tranquil space."
Outside, a water fountain can be seen, and there is a teahouse that can be reached by walking along a small pathway through the woods.
This is where the couple likes to spend their evenings, admiring their home and garden.
When it came to judging, Amanda gave the Kildare home a 10/10 score, while the others gave it a 9 and a 7, leaving the home with a total score of 26.
The Wicklow home on the show received a score of 23, and the final home, which is based in Dublin, was scored at 24.
The credit of the first episode featured a tribute to judge Hugh Wallace who died late last year. He features in the current season as it was filmed before his passing. RTE said earlier this year it was going ahead with airing the episodes after receiving Hugh's family's blessing.
