James Kilbane plays in St John's Church, Kill Village, Kildare
One of Kildare’s most historic places of worship, St John’s Church, Church of Ireland, Kill Village, will open its doors for a special evening of country and gospel music, Songs of Hope, on Sunday March 29 2026 at 6.00pm, in support of ongoing church work and repairs.
St John’s Church has stood at the heart of the Kill community for centuries, serving generations of families through worship, celebration and times of remembrance.
As an important part of the village’s spiritual and cultural heritage, the church continues to play a central role in community life, and this special concert will help support its preservation for future generations.
The concert will feature acclaimed Irish singer James Kilbane, whose career in music, media and television has brought him to audiences across Ireland and internationally.

Doors open at 5.30pm, with the concert beginning at 6.00pm.
