Good news as planning granted for 10 houses in Kildare

A €3.4m 10 house residential development has been approved for Kill, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Resource Five Limited secured planning permission on March 17 2026.

CIS states that application number 2560256 was approved by Kildare County Council on March 17 2026, with respect to a site address at Newtown Way, Kill, Co Kildare.

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on 12/03/2025 by Resource Five Limited for the construction of 10 x 4 bedroom, 2 storey, detached houses (8 no. type a & 2 no. type b).

This was to include all associated ancillary on and off site development works, including

  • outfall foul sewer;

  • surface water disposal;

  • watermain;

  • road;

  • footpath;

  • landscaping;

  • open space;

  • boundary treatments;

  • and ancillary services to facilitate the development with vehicular and pedestrian access from Newtown Way distributor road on infill site of c. 0.48 ha.

The architect for the development is Terry & O'Flanagan Limited.
