Kildare unaccompanied learner driver has vehicle seized

An unaccompanied learner driver in Kildare had their vehicle seized recently by Naas Roads Policing Unit (Naas RPU.)

The incident occurred on the M7 at Greatconnell, Newbridge.

Having been stopped by gardai, it was discovered that the driver was an unaccompanied learner driver.

The driver was also not displaying L plates as required.

Also, the vehicle was found to have no valid motor tax or NCT.

The vehicle was seized.

A garda spokesperson stated: “Road users are reminded of their legal obligations and the importance of ensuring all documentation is in order prior to using a vehicle on a public road.”
