Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) has released a brand-new appeal to the general public for a very specific item.
Taking to social media, KWR said: "We are currently seeking donations of some large wooden spools to utilise as enrichment for our patients.
"Donations can be dropped at the centre between 9am and 5pm, seven days a week."
KWR also provided the address of its centre, which is located near Kildare town (R51 X338).

BRIEF BACKGROUND
KWR is a registered charity which was established in early 2022.
It later acquired its centre in July of that same year. The site is divided into a number of areas and pens, which are specially designated for a different type of wild animal.
KWR is currently led by its manager, Dan Donoher, who is also known for his previous work with Kildare Animal Foundation.
