A County Kildare resident was shocked to discover that their home was broken into over the Easter weekend.
Details of the incident were highlighted by Garda Lenny Donnellan during a recent guest appearance on KFM.

He told host Hannah Kelly that the crime took place sometime between April 4 last and April 5 last in the Belin Woods estate of Newbridge.
According to Gda Donnellan, the owner returned to their home to discover that, to their shock, it has been broken into.
A door at the property was smashed and items were moved inside the home.
However, nothing was taken from the property.

Gda Donnellan concluded by urging anyone with information and / or CCTV footage of the incident to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí attended a scene of a burglary at a residential premises in Newbridge, County Kildare in the early hours of Sunday, April 5 last."
The spokesperson added: "Investigations are ongoing."
