Following a meeting of Leinster CCC, it has been confirmed that Brian Flanagan's Kildare side will face either Laois or Offaly on Sunday, April 19 at Cedral St Conleth's Park.

The Lilies have not won a game since Round 2 of Allianz Football League Division 2 on January, 31 when they beat Offaly 3-17 to 0-17.

Should they progress, Kildare would face the winner of the Meath and Westmeath or Longford fixture, which takes place on the same day as Kildare's quarter-final. The Lilies looked a long way off the likely to progress Royals when the side's met in the league but it is a fixture that Brian Flanagan's side have to win if they are going to play All-Ireland Senior Championship football in 2027.

Anything but securing a Leinster final place sends Kildare back into the Tailteann Cup for next year and undoes all the work of 2025 with The Lilies already back in Division 3 and face several stiff tests to avoid a return to the the second-tier Championship.
