Kildare County Council has refused planning permission for a €1.4m tourist accommodation development in Kill, Co Kildare.
The plans, by Green Haven Limited, were for three detached accommodation lodges and two glamping pods, at Bishopscourt House, Kill, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), application number 2660176 was refused on April 16 2026, having first been submitted for consideration on February 25 2026.
The scheme comprised the proposed construction of three single storey, detached tourist accommodations, each with two additional single storey, detached glamping pods along with a single storey, detached retreat building.

Ancillary development consisted of:
replacement vehicular entrance;
landscaping;
boundary treatment;
bike storage;
car parking;
EV charging facilities;
disabled car parking; outdoor sauna and plunge pool;
low level lighting;
bin storage area.
The plans also included new internal access roads and on-site waste water treatment facilities for all units as well as all associated site works.
