Gardaí based in County Kildare are investigating the burglary of an Indian restaurant which is located near a popular shopping centre.
Details of the crime were highlighted by Garda Orlaith Fahy during a recent guest appearance on KFM.

She told host Hannah Kelly that the incident occurred on Wednesday, April 15 last at Biryanhi Hut in Newbridge, which is situated across the road from the Whitewater Shopping Centre.
According to Gda Fahy, four males entered into the restaurant at around 7.30pm.
The males managed to get behind the counter and proceeded to steal around 500 worth of cash from the till.
They subsequently fled the business on foot.

She concluded by saying that gardaí based in Newbridge are probing this burglary and urged anyone with information relating to the incident to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about the crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary at a business premises in Newbridge, County Kildare on Wednesday, April 15 last.
"A sum of cash were reported taken."
The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing.
