Over two dozen people on trolleys at Kildare's main hospital today

It's the second most overcrowded hospital in the area

Naas hospital urges patients to get medical care elsewhere due to overcrowding

Some 24 people are being treated on trolleys today at Naas Hospital making it the second most overcrowded hospital in the east of the country.

The most overcrowded facility is St Vincent's in Dublin, where there are 39 patients on trolleys.

There are no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital.

At Portlaoise Hospital the overcrowding figure was two.
