A security guard was allegedly bitten under his arm by another man at a Kildare-based music festival earlier this year.

The accusations relate to David Mangan, with an address listed as 12 Sallowood View, Santry Avenue, Ballymun, Dublin 9.

It was heard that the 59-year-old defendant had allegedly committed the offence against the security guard while he was at the Forever Young Festival at Palmerstown Estate on July 17 last.

The alleged offence falls under the assault causing harm category.

Judge Desmond Zaidan adjourned the case to February 22, 2023, in order to allow time for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
