Disqualification for drug-driving offence in South Kildare

A two-year disqualification (DQ) was imposed on a man for a drug-driving offence.

The DQ was handed down to Evan Rennick, with an address in Ball Alley Lane, Kildoon, Nurney, by Judge Desmond Zaidan at Naas District Court on Thursday, January 19.

The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence at Maddenstown in South Kildare on May 12, 2021.

Gardaí said that Mr Rennick was found with cocaine and cannabis in his system when he was stopped in his car by gardaí.

In addition to the DQ, Judge Zaidan imposed a €500 fine.
