Two temporary road closures are scheduled to take place in North Kildare.
According to Kildare County Council (KCC), the R403 Dublin Road, east of Youngs Cross will be closed for two weekends: the first weekend (Bank holiday weekend) from 9pm Friday, April 28, to 4am Tuesday, May 2, and the second weekend from 9pm Friday May 5, to 4am Monday, May 8.
"The closure is required to facilitate Uisce Éireann on the installation of foul water trunk rising mains," KCC said: "Roads will be opened early if works are completed ahead of schedule."
"Emergency access and restricted Local Access will be maintained.
"Diversionary routes will be in operation and will be clearly signposted.
"Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact Uisce Éireann on Twitter @IWCare with any queries," KCC concluded.
