Planning permission documents lodged with Kildare County Council (KCC) show that 78 new homes are being proposed for an area in Kildare town.
Thoval Properties Limited is seeking permission from KCC to construct the development at Kildare and Whitesland East.
Specifically, the group intends to construct: five studio duplex units, 18 one-bed duplexes, 17 two-bed duplexes and 38 three-bed duplexes, to be contained within 22 three-storey blocks.
Permission is also being sought for: access roads, public open spaces, an ESP sub-station and associated services.
The date received is listed as May 22 last, while the submission-by and due dates are listed as June 25 and July 16 respectively.
According to the business information site SoloCheck.ie, Thoval Properties Ltd was established in 1989.
The business specialises in the general construction of buildings and civil engineering works, and has an address listed as Kilmeague in Naas.
