RIP to the late Alan Byrne

The death has occurred of Shane Ashe
Dromkeen West, Causeway, Kerry / Ballyheigue, Kerry / Newbridge, Kildare

The death has occurred of Shane Ashe, Barr na Sráide, Ballyheigue/ Dromkeen West, Causeway, Co. Kerry and formerly of Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Retired Army Captain, Shane died suddenly in the exceptional care of the staff of Bons Secours Hospital, Tralee.

 

Predeceased by his father Matt, he will be sadly missed by his children Muireann and Matthew, and their mother Mary. Also by his heartbroken mother Joan, his brothers Harry, Mícheál, Tom and Máirtín, his sisters Sheila and Eileen, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nephews and nieces, his granddaughter Maia, and all his relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Casey's Funeral Home, Causeway on Thursday, 15th June, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by removal to St. John's Church, Causeway. Requiem Mass for Shane will be celebrated on Friday 16th at 12 noon, livestreamed on the following link St. John's Church, followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery, Causeway.

The death has occurred of Dr. Alan BYRNE
Thornbrook, Naas, Kildare / Dartry, Dublin

Byrne, Dr. Alan (Naas, Co. Kildare, formerly of Darty Road, D6) – June 13th, 2023. Peacefully, at home with his loving family, following a long illness approached with positivity and humour, to the inexpressible grief of his darling wife Mary. Alan was an incredible father to Julie, Stephen and Ellen, a loving brother to Michael and Mark and a devoted son to his predeceased parents Gerard and Maura.

 

Alan will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his brother-in-law, Seamus (Farrelly), sisters-in-law, Siobhan, Linda, Christine (Sisk) and Clare (Farrelly), uncles, Raymond Byrne and Dr. Tom Ryan (Canada), aunt Sr. Nuala Ryan (USA), nieces and nephews, Mark, Richard, Jennie, Alex, Nicholas, Thea, Charlotte and William, cousins, aunts-in-law, godchildren, Stephens girlfriend, Sarahann, colleagues from Naas General Hospital, the wider medical community and his wonderfully supportive friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Friday from 4pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral on Saturday morning with Requiem Mass at 10am in The Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Michael Collins
Abbeyfield, Kilcock, Kildare / Kilcloon, Meath

Peacefully in the loving care of the doctors and staff on St. Vincent's ward at the Mater Hospital after a brief illness. Michael, predeceased by his dad Barney Collins and Mother-in-law Mary Sheehan. Beloved husband of Lorna and loving dad of Kirsty, Sean and Oliver will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife and children, Mother Maureen, sisters; Mary, Ann, and Fiona, brothers; Niall, Ollie and Barney, brothers-in-law; Barry, Sean, PJ, Kevin and Derek, sisters-in-law; Sharon and Karen, his father-in-law Albert Sheehan, Auntie Betty, his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

 

May Michael Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at the home, Abbeyfield on Wednesday, 14th of June, from 5pm to 8pm.

House strictly private at other times.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 1pm in the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Kilcloon (A85 WD82) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Carmel Crowe, ( Nee Byrne), Conroy Park, Kilcullen, Co Kildare.

 

Who died on June 12th, 2023, peacefully at Naas General Hospital.

 

Deeply regretted by her loving Husband Sean, Children, Martina, Colette, David, Marie, Elaine and Sinéad, Sons-in-law, Grandchildren, Great -Grandchild, Sister Bridget, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday 14th June from 2pm to 8pm with prayers at 7 30pm. Removal from there on Thursday morning to the Church of The Sacred Heart and St Bridget Kilcullen, arriving for 11am funeral mass. Which can be viewed on https://www.mcnmedia.tv/ followed by burial in New Abbey Cemetery.
