A Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) was stopped by gardaí at Caragh.
According to the official Garda Traffic account on Twitter: "The Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol on the R409 near Caragh when they stopped this HGV.
"It was found that it had failed to comply with the weight restrictions on a local bridge."
The account added: "A Fixed Charge Penalty Notice was issued."
