Road works lasting two weeks to commence place at junction in Kildare from today

Road works lasting two weeks will commence at one Kildare junction from today (June 30).

According to Kildare County Council, the works will take place on the R415 between Allen Cross and Kilmeague village junction.

Stop-Go/traffic lights will be in operation to facilitate the works.

Commenting on the announcement, KCC said: "The coucil apologises for any inconvenience caused.

"Your cooperation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
