South Kildare road to be closed for two days

A road located in South Kildare will be closed for two days, Kildare County Council (KCC) has said.

According to KCC, road resurfacing works will be carried out on the following road: the L 7063 Kildangan from the L 7063 / L3010 to the L 7063 / L7065.

The works will take place tomorrow, Thursday, July 6, and Friday, July 7, 2023. 

A road closure will be in place.

KCC also said: "Diversion routes will be in place and will be clearly signposted.

"Your co-operation is appreciated, and any inconvenience caused is regretted."

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

Southbound traffic will be directed off the L7063 and to continue on the L3010 to the junction with the R417 at Crosskeys Cross.

Turn left and head southbound on the R417 for 1.8km at the Junction of R417 / L7065 at Cush.

Turn left onto the L7065, and continue on the L7065 to finish at the junction of L7063 / L7065.  

Northbound traffic will be directed on the L7065 traveling westbound to the T Junction with the R417 at Cush.

Turn Right on the R417 heading northbound to Kildangan Village.

At Crosskeys Cross in Kildangan Village, turn right onto the L3010, finishing at the junction of the L3010 / L7063 at the Our Lady of Victories Church.
