RIP to the late Brian Sloan, Maureen Delaney (née Ward) and John Flanagan.

The death has occurred of Brian Sloan

Mount Carmel, Newbridge, Kildare and late of Yvonnes Newsagents.

October 15, 2023. 

Peacefully at Naas Hospital.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Christine (Chris), sons Cory & Jonathon (Jack), daughters-in-law Katie &  Viktoriia, grandchildren Anna & Tilly, sister Geraldine, brother-in-law Bert, Aunty Liz, sister-in-law Patricia, nephews Trevor & Karl, extended family, relatives & friends. 

May Brian Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy Funeral Home, Henry Street, Newbridge on Wednesday from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. 

Removal on Thursday afternoon at 12 noon to arrive at St Conleth’s Parish Church, Newbridge for 12.30pm Mass.

Funeral afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium which can be viewed  on https://www.dctrust.ie/location/newlands-cross/chapel-webstream.html

The death has occurred of Maureen Delaney (née Ward)

Bishopswood, Portarlington, Offaly / Naas, Kildare.

Formerly of Rathmore, Naas, County Kildare.

Maureen passed away peacefully in the care of Tallaght Hospital.

Formerly of Willowbrook Nursing Home, Newbridge where Maureen received wonderful care over the last 18 months.

Predeceased by her husband Willie and sister Theresa Nolan.

Much loved and sadly missed by her brother Andrew, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. 

May Maureen Rest In Peace. 

The family would like to thank you for your help and understanding at this sad and difficult time.

The death has occurred of John Flanagan

Derrinturn, Carbury, Kildare.

John passed away at Naas Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. 

He is predeceased by his parents John and Sarah. 

He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family: brothers Thomas, Martin and Conleth, sisters Anne and Catherine, brothers-in-law George and Brian, sisters-in-law Sandra, Nuala and Patrisia, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially Greg O'Reilly.

John's Funeral Mass will take place this Friday (October 20) at 12 noon in the Holy Trinity Church, Derrinturn, followed by family cremation.

John's family would like to thank all the staff at Naas Hospitial for the care John received, especially the Allen and Moate wards.

The death has occurred of Michael Giles

Maynooth, Kildare. Formerly Confey, Leixlip, IDA and Miele Ireland.

Peacefully in the excellent  care of the Ryevale Nursing Home surrounded by his loving wife and family. 

Michael, beloved husband to Phil and loving father of Mark, Helen, Lucy and David, wonderful grandfather to Ella, Nicky and India.

Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law; Joan and Sue,  son-in law; Andy, sister-in-law Eileen Gribben, brother-in-law Fr. Tom Relihan, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours.

May He Rest In Peace. 

Reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church Street, Kilcock (w23 xc90) on Wednesday, October 18 from 6pm to 8pm. 

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in the Church of Our Lady's Nativity, Leixlip followed by private cremation.
