A driver in Naas was fined for parking in a disabled parking bay, according to Kildare gardaí.
The incident was detailed by the official Garda Traffic account on X / Twitter, which opened with a quote: "Ah I was only a minute. Sure I had to use the ATM!"
The account continued: "Trainee Garda Peppard spotted this vehicle parked in a disabled parking bay in County Kildare without a permit, and we’re afraid excuses aren’t good enough.
"This turned out to be a €150 more expensive of a trip."
