A National Lottery player in Kildare has gotten their year off to a great start by winning an incredible €100,000 in Sunday night’s Millionaire Raffle draw.
The Kildare winner is one of six lucky lotto winners from six counties across Ireland who have woken up €100,000 richer in 2024 after winning the top tier prizes during last night's Millionaire Raffle draw.
Five other players in Clare, Cork, Donegal, Louth and Meath are sure to be celebrating today after they won the other top tier prizes of €100,000.
The winning €100,000 ticket in Cork was purchased at News 4 U, Glenroyal Shopping Centre, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
The winning locations for the six prizes of €100,000 from last night’s Millionaire Raffle were:
• Daybreak Drumgeely, Drumgeely, Shannon, Co. Clare
• Friars Road Post Office, Turners Cross, Cork
• Gala, Moness Burt Speenoge, Lifford, Co. Donegal
• News 4 U, Glenroyal Shopping Centre, Maynooth, Co. Kildare
• Applegreen M1 Castlebellingham, Northbound M1 Motorway Services Area, Castlebellingham, Co. Louth
• Centra Summerhill, Summerhill Court, Summerhill, Co. Meath
The National Lottery are urging all Millionaire Raffle players to check their tickets very carefully today to see if they have gotten 2024 started with a win. Players are advised to check their tickets at www.lottery.ie on the National Lottery App.
The big winner today in Lotto HQ was a Dublin player who has begun the new year on a high by becoming Ireland’s newest millionaire after winning the top prize of €1m in last night’s Millionaire Raffle draw.
The life-changing €1 million top prize was won by a player in Dublin with the ticket number 218960. The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location will be revealed on Tuesday.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “A player in Dublin certainly had a life-changing entrance into the new year by becoming Ireland’s newest millionaire. If you were one of the biggest winners of the night who won the €1 million and €100,000 prizes, you should sign the back of your ticket and keep it safe.
"You can contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for you to claim your prize. With 8,500 prizes on offer in the draw, all ticket holders should carefully check their tickets today on www.lottery.ie or through the National Lottery app where they will see the full list of winning ticket numbers.”
Other prizes on offer in the New Year’s Eve draw included 15 prizes of €10,000, 45 prizes of €5,000, 302 prizes of €1,000 and 8,131 prizes of €500.
