Power washer worth €4,000 stolen from Athy, County Kildare

An Garda Síochána (AGS) based in County Kildare are investigating the theft of a power washer worth around €4,000.

Commenting on the matter, a spokesperson for AGS told the Leinster Leader: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of theft from a property which was reported on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Athy, County Kildare."

"Investigations are ongoing," they added.

Garda Aidan McGuane also spoke about the theft while speaking to the host of Kildare FM Radio Station, Eoin Beatty, this morning.

He told Mr Beatty that a power washer worth around €4,000 was stolen from the property in the Youngstown area of Athy.

Gda McGuane also appealed for anyone with information on this incident to contact Athy Garda Station at 059-863-4210.
