Repairs to goalposts in one North Kildare region have been sought by a county councillor.
Labour Party Cllr Angela Feeney motioned for the goalposts located at Harbourfield in Maynooth to be repaired while in attendance at the latest Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting, which was held on Friday, February 2 last.
In response, KCC said: "Arrangements are being made to inspect the goalposts and ascertain if they can be repaired.
"If they can’t be repaired, the posts will be removed."
