An animal welfare group based in County Kildare is seeking donations in order to help injured Lurcher dogs with broken legs.

My Lovely Horse Rescue (MLHR) made the appeal on its official Facebook page on Valentine's Day (Wednesday, February 14 last).

MLHR posted a video, along with the following caption: "Emergency; four terrified lurchers, three with broken legs.

"We don't have the room, the resources, but what are we meant to do! Look at those innocent faces."

MLHR added: "We are begging you to support us, we need help.

"If you can donate or foster we would be so grateful."

You can donate to MLHR here.
