A road closure is currently in place near Monasterevin.
Kildare County Council explained in a statement: "Please note road resurfacing works will be carried out on the L7055 Oghill, Monasterevin on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
"A road closure will be in operation for the duration of the works.
"Diversions will be in place."
KCC concluded: "We apologise for any inconvenience these road works may cause."
