A car parked near Donnelly's Hollow in The Curragh was reported stolen yesterday.

The matter was discussed by Garda Dave Prendergast on KFM earlier today.

Gda Prendergast said that the incident occurred between 5.15pm and 6.15pm on Tuesday, June 4 last.

He explained the owner of the car went out for a run in The Curragh, and parked the car near Donnelly's Hollow.

When the owner returned, they discovered that their car has been stolen.

Gda Prendergast also gave the registration plate of the car: '141-D-11090'.

He concluded by appealing to anyone with information to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.

When asked about the incident by the Leinster Leader, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of an incident involving the theft of a vehicle that occurred at approximately 5.45pm on June 4, 2024 in The Curragh area of Kilcullen, County Kildare.

"Investigations are ongoing at this time," they added.
