LATEST: Man charged with Kildare murder will go on trial next year

man charged with murdering a 50-year-old man in Co Kildare will go on trial at the Central Criminal Court in June next year.

 
Ryan Kearney (38), with an address at Loughnamona Drive, Leixlip, Co Kildare is charged with the murder of Jeffrey Jackson in an apartment at The Lamp on School Street in Kilcock, Co Kildare on February 8 this year.
 
Mr Justice Paul McDermott fixed a date of June 18, 2025 for the trial, which is expected to last two weeks. 
The case was listed for case management on October 25 next.
