The words of Johnny Doyle as he announces his retirement following Allenwood's defeat by Athy in the SFC this afternoon.
One of the greatest to don the white of Kildare and the blue of Allenwood has given sterling service to both club an county.
It is indeed an end of an era.
Meanwhile there were no major surprises in Round 3 of the SFC with wins for Celbridge and Athy while the other game between Carbury and St Laurence's saw Carbury retain their senior status with a three point win; St Laurence's have one more chance to retain their status in the relegation decider.
In the IFC there were wins for Monasterevan, Leixlip, Milltown and Sallins.
