Cian McKevitt, Naas, is faced by Senan Murphy, St Laurences in the MFC 'A' final at Manguard Park
Naas were crowned Manguard Plus Minor A football champions at Manguard Park, Hawkfield, this afternoon (Saturday 26 October) for the first time since 2019 following a comfortable win over St Laurence's.
It was a game Naas dominated and while only leading by two at the break 0-5 to 0-3 they pulled clear in the second half adding 1-7 while The Larries could only mange to add four points of their own.
The vital goal came in the 54 minute when man of the match Liam O'Connor carried the ball into danger area before finding the net.
Final score: Naas 1-12 St Laurence's 0-7.
