Kildare filmmaker, Katrina Costello
An exquisite two-part series that tells the rich narrative of Kerry’s natural history, geology and human story has been brought to life by Kildare filmmaker, Katrina Costello.
Filled with breath taking imagery this is the definitive portrait of this remarkable county. It is the Kerry story, told in a way never done before.
Narrated by Brendan Gleeson, the new series premieres on RTE One on Sunday April 27 at 6:30pm. The second part will air on May 4 at 6.30pm.
Katrina, who hails originally from Prosperous, previously produced The Silver Branch, a labour of love filmed over five years in the Burren, Co Clare. It won a cinematography award at the prestigious Salem Film Festival in Massachusetts and was nominated for an IFTA.
