Kildare writers group celebrate life of arts administrator Celine Garvey

Proceeds of book going to Friends of Naas Hospital

The Moat Writers were honoured to join the Garvey family and friends at an event celebrating the life of the late Celine Garvey in The Moat Theatre in Naas, Co Kildare on Monday May 5.

The Moat Writers were honoured to join the Garvey family and friends at an event celebrating the life of the late Celine Garvey in The Moat Theatre in Naas, Co Kildare on Monday May 5.

Councillor Seamie Moore did the honours officially launching the group’s latest book All the Falling Stars, a poetry collection. In this beautiful little book, the reader will find poems on Life, on Love and Loss.

It is available to buy at The Moat Theatre for €12 with proceeds after costs to the Friends of Naas Hospital.

The Moat Writers regularly facilitate writing sessions at Craddock House culminating last year in the publication of Branching Out a collection of memoirs written by the residents.
