Eadestown caused a bit of a shock in this SFC Group D, Round 2 clash at Cedral St Conleth's Park, Newbridge, this afternoon getting the better of Carbury in a rip-roaring second half.

Eadestown led at the break thanks to an opening half goal from Niall Cummins, it was a score than saw them lead by four.

A goal on 32 minutes from substitute Paul Fleming brought Carbury back into it with the sides level on four occasions throughout that second half.

Then as we entered time added on Eadesstown took the lead through Eoin Conneff, who was excellent throughout before Niall Cummins hit a two-pointer free from outside the 45 to confirm the win on a final score line of Eadestown 1-15 Carbury 1-12.
