2025 Masters champion Rory McIlroy will take centre stage in Kildare at the Amgen Irish Open next week with an exclusive Q&A for fans in the Championship Village on Thursday, September 4, following his opening round at The K Club’s Palmer North Course.
Hosted by renowned golf broadcaster Shane O’Donoghue, the Q&A will give fans a unique chance to hear directly from Rory as he reflects on his remarkable journey, his Irish Open win at The K Club in 2016 as well as his recent Masters win. This will be a rare and intimate opportunity for Irish golf fans to see one of the sport’s greatest golfers up close.
Fans will also have the chance to get up close with Rory’s Grand Slam trophies - the US PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open Championship - proudly on display in the Championship Village throughout the week. This exclusive showcase celebrates Rory’s extraordinary achievements, including his long-awaited Masters victory earlier this year.

At the heart of Saturday’s action at the Arena on the 12th hole, a thrilling Beat the Pro activation will take place, where amateur golfers take on the Par 3. Pre-registration is required to participate, where you have a unique opportunity to test skills against some of the world’s best golfers.
