“I have one message for the young musicians around the world: Stay true to your heart, believe in yourself, and work hard.” – Joe Cocker

A simple message but one that a bunch of pre-teens from Kildare are already living!

They first crossed paths when they met at Music Generation Kildare’s summer camp this July and it didn’t take long for them to click. Playing together felt natural, fun and exciting and it was clear they had something special on their hands

Drawing from icons like The Beatles, Radiohead and Black Sabbath, these young musicians are exploring a wide world of music. This summer they decided to keep momentum going and make it something more permanent, The Frontmen were formed.

The collective comprises of Evan Haslam on drums, Finn Dalton on bass, Conor O’Boyle on guitar and Billy McCormack on guitar and vocals.  Every practice, every jam is filled with raw enthusiasm and joy with a passion that can’t be faked.

This year’s Wild Food Festival is excited to welcome The Frontmen on stage. They play Saturday 13th September in Hedderman’s carpark at approx. 12.45.

Come along, support, and enjoy The Frontmen, as they bring their energy and love of music to the stage. These kids are just getting started and they can’t wait to share their sound with you.
