Frank Brophy

The death has occurred of Frank Brophy, 31 Leylandii Drive, Ballylinan, Laois / Crettyard, Laois / Athy, Kildare.

Formerly of 6 Doonane Terrace, Crettyard, Co. Laois.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and William, brother George, sister Patty, nephew Shane and grand-nephew Baby Shane.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen, son Joseph, daughter Margaret, brothers Jimmy, Liam and John, sisters Nano, Peggy, Teresa, Maura, Bernadette and Claire, daughter-in-law Kathleen, Margaret's partner Kevin, grandchildren Jake and Kyle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his daughter Margaret's residence, Ballylinan (R14 AE33) on Wednesday evening (September 24) from 6pm until 9pm and on Thursday from 6pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Friday morning (September 26) to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Ballylinan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Balylinan Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society.

Connie Clancy

The death has occurred of Connie Clancy, Naas, Kildare / Kilrush, Clare.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Pat and loving Mom of Garrett, Sarah and Simone.

Connie will be forever loved and dearly missed by her heartbroken family, grandchildren Matthew, Sam, Sloane, Sofia and Slaney, daughter-in-law Lena, son-in-law Neal, sisters, brothers, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the family home on Thursday September 25 from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral on Friday with Requiem Mass at 12 noon in The Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas, followed by burial at St. Corban’s Cemetery, Naas.

John Farrell

The death has occurred of John Farrell, Late of 'Skehena House', Ballylinan, Laois / Athy, Kildare

Late of 'Skehena House', Ballylinan, Co. Laois and 'Brenfield', Russellstown, Athy, Co. Kildare.

John died peacefully, in the excellent care of all the staff in Naas General Hospital, after a long illness bravely bourne with courage and dignity.

Predeceased by his parents John and Sarah Mary (May) Farrell and siblings Joan and Stan, RIP.

Beloved husband to Carmel, much loved Dad to Evan, David and Emlyn and Grandad John to Max and Tess.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Peter, Martin, Christopher and Frank and his sisters Mary and Ann. John will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Ciaran, sisters-in-law Brenda, Olive and Mary, daughters-in-law Daryle and Sarah, his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Rigney's Funeral Home, Athy (R14 TX26) on Friday evening (September 26) from 6pm until the conclusion of prayers at 8pm.

Removal from his residence at 10.30am on Saturday morning (September 27) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie.

Cremation service will follow at 2pm in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to The Friends of St. Vincent's Hospital, Athy.

James (Jim) Harrison

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Harrison, Naas, Kildare / Clondalkin, Dublin.

Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Clondalkin and Stillorgan, Dublin.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Naas General Hospital.

Beloved husband of Betty, loving dad of Julie, Keith and Lesley and loving grandad of Abby, Zoe, Sid, Kye, Fay, Dan, Holly, Tess and the late Luke.

Jim will be forever loved and dearly missed by his heartbroken family, son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Angela, Lesley’s partner Will, sister Helen, brothers Robert and Raymond, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas (Eircode W91CD0K) on Thursday September 25 from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary Prayers at 6:30pm.

Funeral on Friday morning with Requiem Mass at 11am in The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas, followed by a private cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to the Friends of Naas Hospital. Donation Box in church.
