A "mega raffle" and music bingo event is coming soon to a golf club located near Kildare town.
The "Pink Night", which will coincide with ‘Pink October’ / Breast Cancer Awareness Month, aims to raise funds for Breast Cancer Ireland.
Explaining the motivation behind the event, organiser Ana Sandru said on social media: "This [cause] is very close to my heart, as my strong Mam had to battle breast cancer last year; something we never thought would happen.
"You just never know what’s going to knock on your door!"
She added: "So, if you want to have your girls night out or even your early Christmas party this is a great way to do it for a amazing cause."
Ana also said that anyone who cannot make it to the "Pink Night" but would still like to donate can do so via idonate.ie.
Tickets are €25 and include a free drink on arrival. Anyone who is seeking tickets for the event, in addition to raffle tickets, can message Ana on Facebook.
The "Pink Night" will take place on October 17, 2025 in Cill Dara Golf Club.
It will begin at 8pm.

FACTS ABOUT BREAST CANCER
According to the Irish Cancer Society, breast cancer is when cells in your breast change and grow in an abnormal way.
A group of these cancer cells can then proceed to form a tumour.
Each year in Ireland, almost 3,600 women and approximately 30 men are diagnosed with breast cancer.
This form of cancer is more common in women over 50, but it can affect younger women too.
In terms of screening for breast cancer, BreastCheck is the name of the national breast screening programme.
This service offers free breast screening to women, transgender, intersex and non-binary people age 50 to 69.
It should be noted that one must be living in Ireland and have a PPS number to avail of this service.
