A construction company is seeking planning permission to make changes to a previously proposed apartment and crèche building in Kildare.

Cosmo Developments has applied for permission from Kildare County Council to make the amendment to a previously granted crèche and apartment building, which would be located in Meadow Mill, Clonmullin and Gallowshill, Geraldine Road in Athy.

Specifically, the proposed amendment consists of the change of use from common rooms to a new three-bedroom ground floor apartment.

The description within the application also notes that the occupancy of crèche provision will be unaffected by the amendment.

In addition, Cosmo Developments is seeking permission for a new single-storey, detached communal bin store.
