An alleged daytime theft which was reported at a North Kildare business premises has led to a garda investigation.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this incident, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of an alleged incident of theft form a business premises in Allenwood, County Kildare on September 25 last at approximately 2.40pm."

"[The] investigation remains ongoing," the spokesperson added.

Anyone with information relating to this crime is asked to contact Robertstown Garda Station on 045 860 202.
