The death has occurred of Walter (Wally) ELLIOTT, Ranelagh, Dublin / Kildare.

ELLIOTT, Walter (Wally) (Ranelagh, Dublin and formerly Kildare) 4th October 2025 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin 4.

Beloved husband of Mary. Predeceased by his brother Billy. Sadly missed by his family, his sisters May and Nora, brother David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street on Tuesday October 7 from 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday October 8 at 12.00 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Graine, Urlingford Co. Kilkenny followed by burial at the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary (Sr. Catherine) TANSEY, Clontarf, Dublin / Ballitore, Kildare / Lisnagry, Limerick.

Tansey, Mary (Sr Catherine) Daughter of Charity of St Vincent de Paul, late of Ballitore Co. Kildare, also St Vincent’s Lisnagry Co. Limerick and Nazareth House, Nursing Home, Malahide Road, Dublin 3.

October 4 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the sisters and staff of Nazareth House Nursing Home Malahide Road Dublin 3.

Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Eileen Tansey, brothers John and Owen her sister Evelyn, and niece Aoife Tansey.

Deeply regretted by her brother-in-law Christy Montague, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnephews and great grandnieces, the Community of the Daughters of Charity, cousins, extended family, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Ann Gavin (née McGovern), Rathmore, Kildare.

Gavin Ann, (nee) McGovern Rathmore Naas Co. Kildare October 4 2025 formerly of Bansha Co. Tipperary.

Peacefully at St. Bridget's hospice the Curragh surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife to Tom and loving mother to Mark and Paul.

Mother-in-law to Leticia and Liz. Will be dearly missed by her brother Gerry and sister-in-law Noreen. Grandchildren Paul, Robert, Aidan and Erin.

Will be sadly missed by all who knew her extended family relatives and friends.

John passed away peacefully at The Beacon Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family. Brother of the late Eileen and Bridget.

John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Doreen, son Sean, daughters Elaine and Anne-Marie, son in law Chris, grandchildren and great grandson, brother Pat, sister in law Marie, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
