Kildare Wildlife Rescue will host talk later this weekend aimed at children.

According to Kildare Wildlife Rescue, 'Great Journeys' will focus on "the world of Ireland's migratory birds in a fun and educational setting".

"This talk will cover birds that call Ireland home for a season, and explore where they go when they leave," the group added. "The talk is geared towards children and has an interactive activity."

Kildare Wildlife Rescue also said that parents can attend for free with their child's admission.

'Great Journeys' will take place at the organisation's premises, which is located on the Grey Abbey Road near Kildare town, on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

It will commence at 1pm and conclude at 2.30pm.

Booking via Eventbrite.
