There were no patients on trolleys today at Naas Hospital, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

It was the only public hospital in the eastern region with a zero overcrowding figure. St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin had 37 people on trolleys, after being admitted through the accident and emergency department.

A small number of hospitals elsewhere has no patient on a trolley, including Tullamore Hospital.
