A volunteer group based in County Kildare has launched its Christmas food and gift appeal for 2025.
The Dining Room - Newbridge group, which aims to assist those in food poverty and the homeless community, recently released the appeal on its official Facebook page.
It provides packages of goods to those in need within the Newbridge area.
According to the group, this year, it is looking for donations of:

The Dining Room - Newbridge is also seeking donations of vouchers which can be used at:
The vouchers will allow for the purchase of gifts, the group explained.
Anyone wishing to donate goods and / or vouchers can be delivered to The Dining Room - Newbridge's cabin (W12 HT38) on Saturday mornings between now and Christmas from 10am and 12am (midnight).
In addition, anyone seeking to make alternative arrangements can email diningroomnewbridge@gmail.com or call 089 236 8114.
