A Yellow Rain warning and an orange flood advisory warning are in effect for County Kildare
Kildare County Council’s Severe Weather Assessment Team met today, Friday 14th November, to continue to monitor conditions and respond to events in light of the ongoing and forecasted weather conditions.
A yellow rain warning and an orange flood advisory warning are in effect for County Kildare until 9am and midnight on Saturday 15th November 2025 respectively, with significant flooding possible in Leinster and Munster.
River and surface water flooding is expected, in part due to the recent rainfall earlier this week which has led to saturated grounds and swollen rivers, combined with the upcoming heavy rainfall expected.
The public is advised to monitor Met Éireann forecasts and/or visit https://www.met.ie/ for the most up to date information. Information is also available across Met Éireann social media channels.
Kildare County Council said it will continue to monitor the situation.
