Recently-implemented traffic management measures in one County Kildare village will last for around four weeks.

Kildare County Council (KCC) said that the measures are currently in place in the village of Athgarvan.

According to KCC, it aims to upgrade traffic lights and pedestrian crossings in the village.

KCC further explained: "Traffic management will be in place.

"Your co-operation is appreciated and any inconvenience caused is regretted."
