Local KARE day service facility gets green light to open in Naas, Kildare

KARE has received planning permission for a €1.5m 'change of use' to a service facility in Jigginstown Commercial Centre, Newbridge Road, Naas, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the scheme involves the change of use from office and IT computer training use to a local day service facility use including office, education, training and work placement.

Planning application number 2561065 was submitted to Kildare County Council for consideration on September 19 2025.

The scheme also includes the following:

  • Minor internal alterations to floor layout

  • Alterations to the existing car parking layout to include new pedestrian walkway and set down area

  • New building mounted signage to the side (east) elevation

  • All associated site and ancillary works including provision of a new ramp for level access to the most northern entrance to the building

The architect for the project is Cross Chartered Building Surveyor.
