Alleged daylight burglary incident in Kildare prompts garda probe. File photograph
An alleged daylight burglary incident which took place in County Kildare has led to a garda investigation.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this alleged crime, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána (AGS) replied: "Gardai are investigating an alleged burglary incident in Donadea, County Kildare on Thursday, December 11 last between 3pm and 3.45pm."
The spokesperson added that the investigation is ongoing.
In addition, a member of AGS who appeared on KFM earlier this week, Garda Sarah O'Sullivan, revealed that gardaí are looking into the presence of a "suspicious" green Dacia vehicle which was seen in the area at the time of the alleged incident.
Gda O'Sullivan also urged anyone with information relating to this alleged crime to contact Robertstown Garda Station on 045 860 202.
